Version 2.5.7 is live. This release adds new ways to personalise your adventure, plan the next route and keep a lasting record of your progress in Pokémon Blaze Online.
Pokémon Cards and Trainer Cards
The Pokémon details window has been rebuilt around a new card system made for both phone and desktop layouts. More than 20 animated card styles can be collected through play, including the Pokédex, fishing, mining, Elite Four challenges, Dynamax Invasions and the ranked ladder. Each Pokémon can use its own style.
The new Trainer Card lets players showcase a partner Pokémon alongside their stats, badges, trophies and journal. It can be opened from the new Player Menu, making it easier to see an online player’s journey wherever you meet them.
Four regions on a living 2.5D map
Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Jvaloh now have 2.5D world maps that can be tilted and zoomed. Tap a location to check its encounters, including live swarms and lures, before setting out.
A stronger shiny-hunting toolkit
Shiny Trackers now improve odds steadily from the start of a hunt, with better best odds for Rare, Very Rare and Legendary targets. Focus can turn same-rarity encounters into your tracked target on routes where it appears, while stronger lures, Overcharge Luck Protection and Hunt History give long hunts more useful context.
More to do between adventures
The Casino has four new games: Voltorb Flip, Roulette, Blackjack and Plinko, alongside remastered HD Slots. Friends and Mail have been rebuilt with better sorting, player profiles, favourites, statuses, offline mail and read receipts. Achievements and leaderboards now live together in one redesigned window.
Better across browser, mobile, macOS and Linux
Phone browsers now use the same layouts as the apps, and the web version reconnects automatically after a dropped connection. Android receives fixes for sound and music freezes, as well as a crash when closing the app. Native macOS and Linux clients now update automatically, so keeping the game current is simpler on those platforms too.
This restart also refreshes the Crew Hall, adds Horizon Light and Cut Glass Light themes, improves Random Battle forms and sets, fixes browser battle loading, and includes a long list of mobile, battle and interface fixes.
