- Halloween is back! Visit Magician Sapna in Sandgem Town to enter the Spirit World, full of brand-new Halloween forms, swarms and Dynamax Invasions.
- Shadow Pokemon are here! They appear only on the Halloween maps, about as rarely as Alphas, and each has a perfect 31 IV in Attack or Sp. Atk. Filter them in the PC and the Trade House.
- Dynamax Frenzy: bosses can't be knocked out in their first minutes, so everyone who joins has time to score. Chat now also warns you before an invasion starts.
- Brand-new Bag, Gem Store, Trade House and Crew Hall, rebuilt for phones and desktop alike, and you can resize them.
- Trade House: edit a listing's price, relist everything that expired in one go, see what sold while you were away, and get told about new listings for your saved searches.
- Bag: make your own colored categories, and search items by what they do.
- Gem Store: try any costume on your trainer, ride a mount before you buy it, and see every chest's prizes and odds.
- Two new Casino games: Pinball and Blaze Derby.
- News now greets you with pictures when you log in.
- The Shiny Tracker's Focus now works on your own Swarm Flute swarm too.
- The Master Ball and the Shiny Tracker Safe Master Ball now ask before you use them.
- New dialog styles: Horizon Light and Cut Glass Light, plus Window Tint and Accent Tint in Settings.
- Arabic text players write now reads right to left on desktop and web.
- Android: switching to another app no longer disconnects you, and Gym Leaders and other trainers no longer ignore you until you relog. Plus various minor UI improvements and bug fixes.
