A 'small' post elaborating on PVP and UUBL but mostly on pvp council.

The UUBL (or underused banlist) was hard to compile, but @user with pvp council feedback decided on the list shared in #pvp under the pinned messages.

Since UU is new & we have a mix of many pokemon and a National Dex learnset for those pokemon, the team couldn't blindly take over any existing ban lists. This also means this list can change once there's plenty of UU played & some stuff might proof unbeatable. The pvp council will keep an eye out & discuss things when they think its needed or if the playerbase feels like it should be checked.

Some things on the banlist I have already had questions about:
  • Slowbro is banned from UU while it's not banned on Showdown's gen 9 UU.
- This is because in Gen 9, slowbro lost both teleport and future sight, whereas in our game he still has those available, making it very much stronger than showdown's slowbro.
  • Kommo-O is pretty bad in OU, why is it banned in UU?:
- Due to his extreme versatility & the removal of many of his checks, we believe he would dominate UU with several sets and force people defending against him to gamble which set its going to be & if they gambled wrong, the match would already be lost at that point.

I am confident the pvp council will do a good job in staying in touch with the rest of the playerbase.

We (Developer & GM's) also decided to make @user Council Admin. This means he will lead the pvp council when they require leadership & make these kind of announcements when things have been checked & whether or not if things were changed in anything regarding PVP.
