Good Morning, the Halloween event is soon upon us.
I'm here today to announce the result of the voting the PvP council did for the UU tier.
The result are as follows:

Greninja (Protean)
Heatran
Weavile
Going to OU:
Ogerpon-Cornerstone
Staying in UU:
Quaquaval
Skeledirge
Zapdos-Galar
Dropping to UU:
Victini
Celesteela
Keldeo
Slowbro

Jirachi
Most of the votes were very one sided, only 1-2 Pokémon's had the PvP council split.
So with the the Pokémon that dropped to UU the feeling was it would benefit the tier but also the Pokémon themself. With the power creep that Hoenn and gen 9 brought with it most of these pokemon get almost no usage and only fill niche rolls in OU. With them now in UU they could potentially have a postive impact on the meta and get more usage.
The PvP council felt that even tho Blaziken, Gren, Heatran and Weavile has fallen out of favour in the current OU meta, they all are too strong for the current UU meta and would impact the meta in a negative way. But maybe in the future some of them could drop to UU.
With the Pokémon that avoided the ban the PvP council felt that more testing and data were needed, but also we wanted to see how the meta would be with a handful of new additions that also could potentially deal with them.
The voting on Ogerpon-Cornerstone was very close but ultimately it was deemed to strong for the tier, with great stat distribution, ability and movepool as for the main reason for its ban.
We will be closely monitoring the new additions to the tier, and if anything seems to overwhelming we will react quickly to rectify the issues. The community plays a huge part of this as well, as the PvP council relies on the feedback from the community on what needs to be changed in the tiers.
