- When Darkrai first got released it was quick banned immediately to avoid a unhealthy and quite frankly uncompetitive meta, Now that we're starting to get more offensive answers like the paradox Pokémon, Due to this we're voting " Go OU" at a 7 / 4 with votes, Darkrai can have it's spotlight in OU to determine if safe in the tier now or if it should go back to Ubers after being suspect tested, Council encourages community to communicate with us if it's too strong.
Dragapult OU to UBERS: (Community Voted)
- Some of the community argue its presence breaks the tier by enabling stall due to a lack of strong progress-making tools. Regardless, the OU council has voted to keep Dragapult in the tier as its offensive pressure is far more valuable and without Dragapult in the tier would only make stall archetypes completely unbearable, we advise having answers for one of the most used Pokémon in the tier while teambuilding.
Buzzwole OU to UU:
- We saw Buzzwole actually has potential in the current UU metagame while already having plenty of checks in the tier for both Defensive/Offensively sets and for that reason we're voting " Yes drop to UU ", we believe it will become a strong staple in the tier to pair with Future sight pivots.
Ninetales-Alolan OU to UU:
- Council believe that Ninetales-Alolan will help balance the current weather-heavy UU metagame, offering flexible support without overwhelming power and plenty of counterplay with Steel types available such as Celesteela/Scizor/Registeel and answers the many Fighting types we currently have in the tier so we're voting " Yes drop to UU "
