Concerns of Metagame

Hey everyone, it's been a while now since Kanto released and you might be wondering what needs to be banned (or not) from OU/UU, initially we as Council waited till the region's released as banning anything beforehand would of been redundant. Rest assured, we’ve been keeping on top of it. It’s only a matter of time and logical sense, since we can’t ban anything without usage data unless it makes sense historically (for example, something that has been banned since BW).

Pokémon watched in OU:

• Mega Blastoise + Shell smash (Blastoisinite)
• Mega Alakazam (Alakazite)

Pokémon watched in UU:

• Mega Charizard Y (Charizardite Y)
• Mega Heracross (Heracronite)
• Mega Beedrill (Beedrillite)
• Others from the last tier shifts. (Victini, Celesteela, Mew, Buzzwole, Hoopa-Unbound etc)
